How much does a website actually cost?
Our website projects start from £3k, with most landing between £5k and £9k depending on how many pages you need and how much the site has to do. You get the exact number before anyone starts work, and it does not move unless you ask for something new. If your budget is smaller than that, say so. We would rather get you online sensibly than sell you something you do not need yet.
Can you really build it in a week?
For a focused site with content ready to go, yes. Bigger builds with workshops, new copy and integrations take longer, usually three to six weeks. What we will not do is disappear for two months and hope you forget you are waiting.
Will I be able to update it myself?
Yes. We build on WordPress and set it up so the things you will want to change are easy to change, without any risk of breaking the design. If you would rather not touch it, that is what the aftercare is for.
What happens to my Google rankings if I rebuild?
This is the single biggest risk in a rebuild, and it is why we plan the redirects before we plan anything else. Every page that currently ranks either stays at the same address or points cleanly at its replacement. We then watch the rankings for the first couple of months after launch.
Do you only work with businesses in Sheffield?
No. We are a Sheffield studio and plenty of our clients are local, but we work with businesses across the UK. Most of the work happens over a call and a shared screen either way.
What happens after launch?
Hosting, updates, backups, security and a human to email when something needs changing. Sites are not finished at launch, they are just open. We stay on to keep yours working.
